New this week: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby — about the size of a kidney bean — is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it.
How is the Mom and Dad doing?
April's morning sickenss was not as bad this week as before. We actually went out to eat Friday night for a belated birthday dinner. She has been tired which seems to be the norm for the next few weeks. April has been busy with work but she's hanging in there and waiting for the first trimester to be over, supposedly morning sickness will get better and she'll begin to feel good again.
Dad has been busy with work as usual and has started running again which has helped with my energy level. I also need to get my boat fixed because it's past time to start fishing again.
We also are pondering the idea of looking for a house soon before April get's too big and pregnant. We will post some pictures of April's belly progression as soon as I find the camera cable.
